Description
Rose soaps tend to split into two camps: the ones that smell like a department store counter, and the ones that smell like an actual flower. This is the second kind. It opens with something green and a little cool โ the leafy edge of a fresh-cut stem โ and settles into the rose itself, rounded out by carnation and a hint of lily of the valley. There’s a faint peppercorn note at the base that keeps it from going soft. It’s a recognizable rose scent without the sharp synthetic edge that makes some people reach for a window.
The bar is built on beef tallow and coconut oil, with goat milk as the liquid. Kaolin clay goes in for a smooth lather and a modest slip. It’s a slightly heavier bar than our plant-based soaps โ denser, with a long-lasting feel on the skin.
