Sandalwood Soap

Description

Sandalwood is one of those scents that asks nothing of you. It doesn’t perform. It doesn’t announce itself. It settles — dry, resinous, a little dark at the edges — and stays there. This scent highlights the sandalwood with some cedar and a thread of amber in the background. It works year-round, but there’s something particular about it in cool weather — the way a wood scent grounds you when the air has some weight to it.

The base is coconut, palm, and sunflower in equal measure, with a small amount of castor for lather. It’s a workhorse formula. Firm bar, clean rinse, nothing fussy.

Ingredients: Coconut oil, palm oil, sunflower oil, castor oil, water, sodium hydroxide, sodium citrate, sodium lactate, EDTA, fragrance, colorant
